We stopped by on a sunny afternoon and immediately felt the buzz. The patio was packed with people laughing, sipping cold drinks, and vibing to the music. It’s the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. And if the weather turns, there’s plenty of indoor seating too, with a cozy, retro-casual feel that just works.
First Up: The Starters
We kicked things off with a few shareables to warm up the appetite.
Patiopolis Salad
This one was a surprise favourite. Crisp, refreshing, and tossed with olives and bold Italian flavours. A perfect way to balance all the carbs we knew were coming.
The OG Meatballs
Tender, juicy, and covered in a rich, flavourful sauce. Classic, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering.
Slider Sandwich
Packed with meats and pesto, this one brought the flavour. One of those sneaky-good items you don’t expect to love as much as you do.
The Main Event: The Pizza
Cold Beer and Pizza serves up Roman-style pizza, meaning it’s light, crispy, and has just the right chew. We tried two standout pies.
The Diablo
Loaded with pepperoni, jalapeños, and hot honey. Spicy, savoury, sweet… basically a pizza masterpiece. If you like a little kick, don’t miss this one.
The Nut Job
Mortadella, ricotta, pistachios, and a generous snowfall of parmesan. This was chef’s kiss perfection. The mix of textures and flavours was next-level. Honestly, my favourite thing we ate.
Sip Sip Hooray
Naturally, we had to try a few drinks, and they did not disappoint.
Cold Beer Lager
Crisp, easy, and perfectly chilled. Exactly what you want on a warm day.
Elderflower Nitro Cocktail
Light, floral, and super refreshing. A perfect summer sip.
Jolly Rancher Shot
Sweet, nostalgic, and dangerously smooth. You can’t even taste the alcohol in the best way.
Calgary’s Best Pizza Patio
Cold Beer and Pizza is one of those spots that just gets it. Amazing pizza, great drinks, a vibey crowd, and a patio that invites you to stay for “just one more.” Whether you’re bar-hopping along 17th Ave or looking for a new go-to pizza spot, this place is a solid 10/10.
