March was a bit quieter, but there were still a few new spots that opened their doors across the city. We haven’t had the chance to check these out just yet, but they’re definitely on our list and we wanted to share them with you so you don’t miss out either 👀

🍓 Super Crunch Tanghulu
A spot specializing in tanghulu, a candied fruit snack that’s been gaining popularity globally. You’ll find a variety of fruits coated in a hardened sugar shell.
🍝 Monza
An Italian restaurant serving pizza, pasta, and other traditional dishes. A casual option for those looking for classic Italian flavours.
🇫🇷 Choux & C
A bakery focused on French-style pastries, particularly choux-based desserts, adding to Calgary’s growing selection of specialty bakeries.
🍺 Vaycay Brew Co
A brewpub in Marda Loop serving house-made beer alongside a food menu, combining a brewery experience with casual dining.
🍰 Tat’s Treats
A dessert shop located in Marda Loop offering a range of sweet treats.
🥐 Vernz Bakehouse
A bakery offering freshly baked breads and pastries, with a focus on classic baked goods.
👀 Final Thoughts
March may have been a quieter month for openings, but these spots are some of the newest additions to Calgary’s food scene.
