We’ve been to TOPS Pizza before, but this recent visit reminded us exactly why we keep going back. The pizza is just as good as we remember, comforting, crispy, cheesy, and full of flavour. You can tell they’ve been doing this for over 50 years. There’s something about a place that’s stood the test of time and still delivers.
What caught our attention this time were the summer-only specials, and honestly, they’re kind of a game changer.
HappIER Hour runs every Thursday and Friday from 2 to 6pm. For $9.99, you get your choice of any 20oz draft, 6oz wine, or 1oz spirit (yep, not just the house stuff), plus a sampler of BBQ ribs, spring rolls, or their pizza rolls made with that signature dough. It’s rare to see this kind of happy hour deal with actual options, and it feels like something made for regulars, not just promo boards.
On Saturdays, they’re doing $5 off all appetizers when you dine in. Honestly, it makes it easier to try a few extra things off the menu (which you’ll want to do).
TOPS has always had that familiar, easygoing energy, whether you’re there for dinner, drinks, or one of their live events like trivia, comedy, or local music. Every time we stop in, it feels like time slows down just a little, in the best way.
