The Two Shows Our Wanderers Chose
When we asked our Wanderers community which Cowboys Music Festival concerts they most wanted a chance to attend, two shows stood out immediately.
5 Seconds of Summer & Jason Derulo — July 5
This was one of the most requested shows from our audience.
5 Seconds of Summer has built a passionate fan base over the years, and many of our followers were thrilled to see them included in this year’s lineup. Add Jason Derulo’s long list of chart-topping hits, and you’ve got a night packed with energy, nostalgia, and sing-along moments.
If you’re looking for one of the biggest pop nights of Stampede, this is definitely one to have on your radar.

Macklemore & The Chainsmokers — July 9
The second show that generated a huge response from our community was Macklemore and The Chainsmokers.
Known for hits like Can’t Hold Us, Thrift Shop, and Glorious, Macklemore has a way of creating performances that feel both energetic and memorable. Pair that with The Chainsmokers’ festival-ready catalogue and crowd-favourite anthems, and you’ve got what may be one of the most exciting nights of the entire festival.
This is also one of the nights we’ll personally be attending, which makes it even more exciting for us. Having Macklemore and The Chainsmokers on the same bill feels like the perfect combination for a summer night during Stampede.
If we had to choose one night we’re counting down to most, this would probably be it.
We’re Giving Away Tickets
One of our favourite parts about partnerships like this is being able to give back to our Wanderers community.
After asking our audience which concerts they most wanted tickets for, we decided to create two separate giveaways:
– A pair of GA tickets to 5 Seconds of Summer & Jason Derulo on July 5
– A pair of GA tickets to Macklemore & The Chainsmokers on July 9
If you’d like a chance to win, head over to our Instagram at @WanderingInYYC and look for the giveaway posts. You’ll find all the entry details there.
