Hey Wanderers!
If you’re in Banff and craving something comforting, flavourful, and packed with spice, this one’s for you.

Adi and I recently visited Indian Curry House, and let’s just say… we’re already planning our next visit. Right in the heart of downtown Banff, this hidden gem sits upstairs along Banff Ave and brings the warmth and flavour of India straight to the Rockies. The space is way bigger than you’d expect, making it perfect for large groups, family dinners, or even cozy date nights.
As soon as we walked in, the rich aroma of spices hit us, and we knew we were in for something special. The menu is stacked with a variety of dishes from across India, including classic North Indian curries, sizzling tandoori favourites, and vegetarian options galore. Whether you’re into creamy butter chicken, spicy vindaloo, or comforting dal makhani, there’s something for every taste bud.
We went all in and tried a bunch of dishes and everything HIT!
They also have vegan and gluten-free options, which makes it a great pick for mixed groups with different dietary needs. Plus, if you’re looking for something quick after a day of exploring, their combo lunch and dinner specials are a great deal.
The service was super friendly and fast, and the owners really care about creating a great experience, they even chatted with us after our meal and shared their passion for bringing traditional Indian flavours to the mountains.
